I don't disagree. I'm a big fan of Lids, but if he goes down Simpkins can't be our backup.

And Api wouldn't come as a back-up, so we need some sort of plan.

Api is not a player for us. We have no cap room and it’s Liddles time. He’s a very good hooker on a big contract. Huge upgrade for Dogs but I feel liddle is ready to dominate next year.

We need to wait on who is going and what cap room we have. Any injuries upfront or in the outside backs and we are cactus.

Interestingly, tonight I was talking to one of the better nrl hookers of the past 20 years and I asked him about Liddle. He said he has mad skills but has huge concerns over his durability and his ability to play 80 in the NRL. He said if he can stay injury free and develop into an 80 minute player he’ll be great.

@avocadoontoast I think we cannot afford to Not buy another hooker as a back up for Liddle. I hope he plays great and injury free but next season i think he will be one of the hookers that plays 50-60 mins and we will have a 14 to cover the rest. He is bigger than alot of people think and will kill it injury free

If we had alot of money it would be different. Koro is a gun. But what clubs carry two strong hookers? We dont have the cash to have another big $$ guy on the bench. Bring in a top notch forward or centre.

If Liddle goes down, I think id be happy to dop ET or JR going into hooker, or sign a minimum wage hooker like we did with Matt MccIlwrick etc
