Yes, that’s the latest I think, but as it was with Sheens appointment, the position could be fluid?
The rhetoric from the Chair initially was a dovetailing of the new guy. ‘He was not there to replace McDonnell but to assist him, help him.’
Now it appears as though Fulton has definitely replaced him, with McDonnell off to pathways and Fulton head of recruitment.
My experience is when a new person is poorly introduced to the group in such a way it’s more likely to fail or take a long time to work.
Wish they’d get their act together.
He's bugger than I thought. 187cm. Ideal for a fullback.

It's interesting to me that Fulton largely focused on juniors at Manly, brought in youngsters for development and that Manly signed very few NRL quality players while he was in charge. But we're putting him in charge of NRL recruitment not junior recruitment. We better hope he has an excellent eye for talent and is a highly competent negotiator, something we sorely lack at present....

I've heard a nasty rumour today that Fulton has been ripping off Manly for years, sharing out his petrol card with friends & family, spending thousands a month. Manly happy to be done with him.

Just sounds like sour grapes to me
Generally an employer would tolerate poor work but never when it impacts the bottom line. Id assume the fultons would live in manly so wouldn’t chew up much petrol anyway

Yeah I'm not buying it, if it is true it's a bigger condemnation to Manly who knew and allowed it to happen. What does that say about their culture and the way the place is being run.

Could cost us a fortune because according to an article I read the other day, the reason we finish training a little early is coz the team lives in far and wide locations. It was also in relation to Schuster living in Blacktown and having to travel so much to/from Brookvake.
Not sure how much that applies to other teams but I guess it’s not just a WT problem. Bit different to the old days when most players lived in the district for which they played.
But where would our guys live, Concord or Campbelltown ?

As previously written on here funny there was no club announcement given it’s ( supposedly) such a highly paid position.
Looks like we are keeping it on the down low but someone, probably King Robbie, will know an official starting date.

Think he started last week but would have had his first day in the office yesterday.
Doubt that happened lol fulton was definitely overpaid at times because of who his dad is I think at one point he was the highest paid junior coach or something like that but I doubt he's done anything dodgy other than benefiting from nepotism
