Can anybody tell me is he named for Windsor Wolves this weekend, because even though Luke Walsh is out with an injury for penwiff, they have decided to pick kevin kingston at 1/2 instead, or do you think hes more of a 5/8???

Windsor Wolves Vs Auckland Vulcans
Windsor Sports Complex, Saturday, April 2
Kick-off: 6.00pm
Referee: Phil Henderson
Broadcast: Hawkesbury Radio 89.9FM (Link available via http://www.nswrl.com.au's Weekend Game-Cast)>>

Summary: The Wolves were unable to make it back to back victories at home last weekend when they were outgunned by a determined Wentworthville side. The Vulcans suffered their first loss of the 2011 campaign when they were somewhat upset in Auckland by an impressive Sharks outfit.
\
\
It was not necessarily the loss that surprised pundits but more so the margin of victory to the Sharks given the Vulcans impressive start to the year. Ivan Cleary has swung the axe at NRL level and as a result the Vulcans have lost Bill Tupou, Glen Fisiiahi, Ukuma Ta'ai and Alehana Mara for this one although they have got Joel Moon and Brett Seymour in return.

Junior Kangaroo, Evrett Vaurasi has slotted nicely into the Wolves starting pack, and along with the likes of Buddy Gordon and Dayne Weston, they appear to have the necessary muscle to match the visitors from over the Tasman. >>

Game Breaker: Arana Taumata - Although this playmaker has had as many NRL clubs as the week has days, there is no doubting his talent. The term untapped potential gets used a lot but it has never been truer than in this instance.
\
\
With the Wolves season a month in and Taumata's performances getting better and better each week, one would think it will only be a matter of time until Panthers Coach, Matt Elliot, picks up the phone and gives Arana the call that he is waiting for. But until then the NZ Maori representative will have to bide his time with the Wolves. >>

Prediction: A real toss of the coin here, but there were some bad signs for the Vulcans last week after what was a promising start to the year and as a result I am inclined to tip the home side in what should be a close affair no matter which way it goes

Dane Laurie cost us that game against melbourne a few years ago in melbourne when he dropped a sitter of a pass that would have won us the game, i dont think alot of people would have forgiven him from there on.

Yes remember that Don't think Gareth Ellis could throw a better pass if he tried Stone cold dropped it and cost us top 8

I know this is an arana tomato thread,

however,

I always remember watching that Laurie catch in slow motion, and he actually had the ball CAUGHT for 1 or two steps, then it just fell from his grasp. :roll

Although laughable now, I remember the absolute gobful of swearing my shiny new TV copped at the time….

Ellis would have been better served to trample Slater and score in the corner himself.... these days with Ellis being as trememdous as he is, he would have shimmyed and stepped slater, and go in under the sticks himself....

Both Tumata & Luarie have a ton of talent, but without the right attitude to go with it….
When youve had so many clubs at such a young age as Tuamata, youve gotta sense a problem there

Penriff have a real problem with scoring tries as much as they do letting them in. Luke Walsh is out (as well as being found out,) so perhaps it might have been wiser to give AJ the call up.

Tomato is a clown and Laurie falls into the category: looks like Tarzan plays like Jane, perfectly.
Two dudes, I struggle to see the talent that clontarfkid speaks of.
No thanks!

Wonder who will be next cab in the rank to give him a go??? he would be running out of clubs as well. Maybe he could go to souffs to take sandows spot, he would go good there i reckon. What do you guys think??

At least he'd be cheap, (with, what 8 clubs in 6 seasons, he'd want to be!)

and he thinks he's a superstar - just ask him.

It'd be almost as if Sandow never left. :roll

He'd be a regular first grader now if he didn't ruin his development by being a pisshead and subsequently having to look for a new club every 12 months.

See he is missing in action again this week, wonder if he is injured or not??? see his mate dane laurie is on the benh for the windsor wolves this weekend.
