Bryce Gibbs twitter posts imply that its not his choice - i.e. he is being forced out rather than wanting to leave.

The earlier post about wests tigers breaking an agreement with juniors of 2005 is true. They were running into salary cap issues, that's when Fulton put his hand up to play a year over in England. This guy was the captain of all the wests junior teams that won everything!!! And we kick him out! Just like we turned an awesome center into a wide running second rower, then a prop on Bronson Harrison!

What a massive con job. Those two communicate via Twitter as though no one else has access to their tweets. If I want to chat to a mate, I text or ring them. I don't do it via Twitter

Prepare yourselves with about 15 pinches of salt…but....
chatting to Bryce last night on FB & he says to me that:
a)- he doesn't WANT to leave, but is being forced out- his words- "They stuffed up the salary cap".
b)- Fifita is, according to the conversation, also signed & the tigers hadn't re-signed him.
c)- Liam will follow too soon.
d)..... Heighnington also going. (didn't say to the Sharks- just that he was going - "hino gone too" were his words)
I will admit, my sarcasm radar was way off yesterday, and I was pretty tired, so my judgement was cloudy at best- but Bryce didn't SOUND like he was kidding...maybe he's just getting good at tricking me though. This wasn't a post on his page- this was in chat.
So- 1 of 2 things- either Bryce is ticked off about being 'forced out' of the club & is now feeling free to say as he likes, OR...Bryce is having us all on.
I hope it's option 2, personally.

I doubt that Heighno will go - I would be massively surprised.
The others I don't care. Gibbs is still the same player that Ogre put on his arse. No bigger, no more skillful and no smarter (still gives away the stupid penalties).
He may go to the Sharks and be the next Josh Perry. Liam too. Good luck to them but I think others deserve a chance to shine at our club.

This is poor planning by the club and heads should roll if and Fifita and Heighington are forced out because of this.

Just to clarify my 'relationship' to Bryce- just FB friends- same as Liam & Galloway.
Very accomodating guys, always up for a chat. I have no special connection- which is why I suggest you arm yourselves with several pinches of salt to go with it…
But...he didn't sound like he was having a leg-pull. I can generally pick it, last night he just sounded P.O'd.

Just a note though - this stuff up doesn't mean we have lost players we wouldn't have anyway if we hadn't stuffed up - as you still only have a certain amount to spend - just means we are releasing some players now instead of never being able to sign for next year in the first place - so the cap issues hasn't cost us players its just that we tried to get even more players and it didn't come off - A risk worth taking for mine
