Are we missing Benji

To an extent yes. I'm still disappointed with our defence though. For all of Taylor's talk about improving our defence we conceded another 28 points last night to an ordinary team.

Maybe our players aren't up to the defensive standard required at NRL level..I think this is getting glaringly obvious and somehow recruitment must be a priority….but where does the money come from.??
Although these guys try,and Taylor is trying to teach them, the just haven't the quality essentials to make it in the NRL ..
Apart from a few on our team the rest of the roster is pretty ordinary compared to the competition heavy weights..

Membership numbers would say so . We all know he'd lost interest and was playing like a busted in his later years with us , but the kids loved him …

Based on current form, yes, however…........he dogged it for us the last couple of years he was here and by his own admission too. Kinda lost respect for the guy really.

Honestly, no.

Benji is so unique, you essentially have to mold your team around him; he doesn't just slot into the available role. Watching St George now, still so much sideways movement looking for hole runners, loose-arm tackles, forced passes. Not a bad player by any means, but we've moved on from that.

To take back Benji is to go back to the old Tigers, and it kind of makes 2015 pointless, to endure a painful transition year only to revert back to the old groove.

Benji is a canny footballer but his best days are behind him, well and truly, and generation next had already arrived for us. Maybe we wanted another year or two out of Benji before we brought the young kids up, but he forced our hand.

Benji brought spark in our attack everyone was talking about Brooks debut how well he played we all remember that, that was in my mind because of benji, benji got to play his own game brooks and benj was a great partnership they only played together once and that was his debut and they both played amazing 1 try to brooks with a few assist to the both its a great partnership which brought the best out of Benji and Brooks would sign Benji in a heartbeat for a 1-2 year get Moses a bit more time in NSW cup and watch the experience Benji would give to brooks and Moses! WATCH THE HIGHLIGHTS OF HIS DEBUT AND WATCH THERE PARTNERSHIP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_k-nWZKggE

We get Benji back as much as I loved him as a Player, He would want $600,000 plus & we don't have that sort of Money. As someone said it probably would be a step back.

Benji took a massive paycut to come back to NRL for dragons would not be asking for much knowing his past 30 and he loves the tigers

plus the dragons would give anything to be rid of him - Including paying out most of his contract…

We miss his individual (but Rarely Seen) Brilliance. Let us not forget that he admitted that he had lost all desire whilst @ the WTs

I am still of the opinion that we are and will be a better club for the current direction.

I hope we avoid the spoon, and look forward to 2016.

The video that teddy23 has posted is very good, thanks Ted….

The thing is didnt Brooks look so much better with better players around him and running the ball more...fantastic dummy to score his try,I would love to see much more of that...

no we are not missing benji, moses and brooks will and are doing a good job if only JT would let them play football, moses last night showed what he can do from broken play, let the kid go and see what he can do, he is quick and can create something.
the main problem for the team is we dont have the forwards to help these kids, sign two top clas backrowers and one top clas centre and see the difference, and maybe a prop. thats only 4 players and we could be a different side.

I figured it out! Brooks had long locks in that debut, he's cut it ever since then.

Perhaps a bit of Samson.
