Are we playing really good Or Are the other teams we vs playing really bad?

As the wheel turns back on topic please…

Wests Tigers will turn it around next week...

Parra just seem all over the place performance wise

They are either horrible or world beaters , we beat them without Farah last season , I have a good feeling depending how the players all pull up

After that , who knows ?? We just need to keep showing up with the same mindset and we will continue to improve

My take on the question in the title is that the two are not mutually exclusive and so can't be answered simultaneously.
You can sometimes play only as well as your opponent lets you and vice versa, but to really find the answer you need to ask 8 different questions at this stage, ie; how well/bad did each team play in each of the four games so far.

I'd say the Tiges have been (expectedly) clunky in two games so far, gutsy next and excellent and then terrible in the last.
I look at it with the simplified view you can only beat what's in front of you and I don't really care how well the opposition plays - only how the tigers deal with them!

I can understand the excitement about our team and they have done extremely well so far this year, with injuries and very young players,we have a team to build on…..

Parra were exceptional against Souths and will be beaming with confidence, the last thing we need is to take them for granted...the team will have to be prepared for a very hard contest as Parra want to build on their performances also.....

its not how you start the race its how you finish .

we've all seen glimpses of what could be .

surely we all still remember the 2005 season & our start then was scratchy too but at the same time there were glimpses of what was to come later .

the team didn't start their run until round 16 and wern't in the top 8 until round 19 .

if we're near the bottom of the 8 by round 16 this year with no major injuries it might be time to put some $ on us . hopefully we'll be 66-1 like we were in 05 .

Lets hope we don't leave it that late a decade on..

I actually think we will make the the top 8 this year.

We have a favourable draw and play Souths and Cowboys during the origin affected rounds meaning SOO won't put us out of games.

With teams like the cowboys, manly, sharks faultering and others like storm and brisbane being heavily affected by origin we should snatch a top 8 finish.

Especialy if we continue to build week to week as we have been and remain injury free. If that happens, then anything is possible..
