I'm so over this whole story

If she was 22 stone and non Anglo Saxon we'd heard about it on the16th page once and never heard of it again

I hope it is some sick trick the Indoenesians are playing and she has to serve the rest of her time

She's guilty and she should of thought herself lucky she only got 20 years and not the death penalty

Sickening isn't it ….. Guilty as charged and will get $3m for selling the story ..... Couldn't watch the news for long tonight .... Although had a laugh at the sister .... She'd make a good second rower !

Wasn't there a law brought in around the Chopper days, where previous inmates couldn't make money from their crimes eg. Tv, radio, papers, books etc.

In no way shape or form should this cow who's lied to the Australian public for over 10 years get a chance to make money out of what her and her family have done.

She'll probably get a front page pin up in Zoo Weekly if she does a few sit ups and slaps some make-up on her face.

The whole thing is crap. Will watch the tv show about it though, as my friends sister is playing Chappelle, but that is the only reason I'd waste my time.

She won't get the money due to proceeds of crime legislation designed to stop "famous" criminals from profiting as a result of their crime.

Trouble is Willow, the crimes occurred overseas. I honestly don't think it applies in Australia.

Unfortunately thelowest common denominators of journalism in ACA will make sure she will profit from these crimes in a major way, and that's the most disgusting thing about all of this.

I love this country, but MAN I hate it sometimes.

Indonesia should have saved us the trouble and put a bullet in her. End of.

If anyone wants to question me on this, she is a convicted drug runner, and I have been directly affected due to drugs by the way of car theft as a lowly 1st year apprentice who saved up for nearly six months for his car only to have it pinched four weeks after purchase and left ruined with shot boxes left strewn through the car.

Any country that wants to enforce death for drug running has my endorsement.

I'm sick of hearing about it, it's been the only thing on the news for the past week

I think booze has more to answer for than weed. How many stories do we hear of violence around alcohol or drink driving deaths every day? At least the pot smokers are on the couch at home keeping the pizza delivery companies busy.

So did anyone watch Nine last night? I wonder what version of the story they decided to run with…

Nope.

Watched a far better produced, honest and thought provoking telemovie about a convicted Australian drug smuggler over on SBS called Better Man

I don't watch tv. read newspapers or listen to the radio, so theres 3 big sources of rubbish eliminated right there. The only time i've heard about her recently is in this thread and the odd person on facebook. Its times like this i'm glad i live in a state of ignorance.

Poor Schapelle…poor drug smuggling, media [This word has been automatically removed], drama queen, soon to be millionaire Schapelle....

The best thing about her release is that you only have to hear about this dribble for the next few weeks, and then she is GONE FOREVER!

Don't you believe it Swordy…there will be interviews, magazine spreads, book deals maybe even a feature film. This will drag on until 2017 when it will start again as she heads home.
