90’s an awesome era. So so many Amazing players to pick from. Gonna be real hard to rank them later

Pretty much..think there is more guns in the era than at present..so picking is a bit easier..

The voting is going to be more difficult ..given that and as I've said voting is subjective and up to the individual how they vote but ask people to consider the whole or bulk of the decade rather than a year or 2 at either end where they were guns in the 80's or 00'..

The happy clause shouldn't apply...using Wendell Sailor from the last comp as it's the stand out played 0 games in the decade and is a great winger no doubt and rated highly based on that but his contribution to the actual decade was umm 0...

Again tho it's not a set rule just my thoughts for consideration..

That’s interesting. I’ve identified a couple of 80’s superstars who fell into the 90’s. Should they be highly ranked if they contributed very little in the era we are choosing from? Everyone will have their own opinion I suppose

Yep that's exactly what I mean m8 but as I've said it's up to the individual how they vote...but people shouldn't get upset if a gun is voted lower than he would have if this was the 80's or the 00's or vice versa and ranked highly because of who they are..

Ok I'll just put this here to emphasise the discussion @Tiger_Steve and I were having last night in regards to the voting stage as it highlights the general Idea about the decade that was the 90's

The selection of Wally Lewis in the 90's decade is valid he played for the Gold Coast in 91/92 and is one of the greatest fooballers of all time but how do you compare his contribution to the decade against say Brad Fittler or Laurie Daley..

If we were ranking the greatest footballers of all time Wally would be at the pointy end no question but the intention of the game is the Decade of the 90's...

This is not having a go at anyone..just something to think about...
