Agree Russell, this is no time for nepotism, this is a seriously crucial position. The club’s future success depends on getting it right.
This new position is a great idea. I see it forming a valuable link, smooth integrated transition.

We are only replacing him as a pathways coach . Needs to be someone who has a good eye for junior talent and can relate to younger guys.

Well, my thinking is who do the kids want, Nevill Nobody a reasonable coach or a club legend that they can learn from, who many would’ve grew up idolising him?
To me it’s a no brainer, but anyway we’ll see what they do.

Hull is a probably a good club for a first coaching gig. Not one of the powerhouses like Wigan or St Helens that demand immediate success, but nor are they a perennial struggler.

Actually as much as I love Hodgo signing someone who specializes in Talent Spotting / ID is a far better move

He was the good cop for Madge's bad cop.
But in the end he failed as a coach and as an assistant. We are right to try something new in the coaches box and to now find someone new for his pathways position.
