18 months after rupturing her hamstring at the Olympic Games, could a 32-year-old Michelle Jenneke be back at her best?
The numbers suggest so, and Saturday’s Perth Track Classic awaits as part of the Chemist Warehouse Summer Series.

A BURN UP FOR BRONZE

🔥

Jessica Hull throws absolutely everything at the World Athletics Indoor Championships 3000m, surging to the lead ahead of the bell lap before holding on for bronze behind Italy's Nadia Battocletti and the USA's Emily Mackay.

The tactical affair saw the final kilometre run in 2:41, with Hull covering non-stop moves for 15 laps of the indoor circuit to secure her sixth global medal.

In hot form and with a favourable mark, Carnegie's Charlotte Nielsen from the NESP squad is all set to take on Sha'Carri Richardson.
.
"Getting to race against Sha'Carri will be an incredible opportunity. She's a great athlete and knows how to rise to the occasion, so I think its going make for some great racing."
.
"To win the Powercor Stawell Gift would be a life changing experience, and to have my name etched into history would mean the world."

Only two athletes have won with the Powercor Women’s Gift from scratch. Can Sha'Carri Richardson create history and become the third?

The journey begins on Heat 14 of the Powercor Women’s Gift at 1.21pm on Easter Saturday.
Sha’Carri has four competitors in her heat off 10m.
Can she run them down?

Morgan Mitchell is back and this time, it’s different. After stepping away from the sport, the former 400m star has returned with a new mindset, a new purpose, and her sights set on LA 2028.

“We aren’t in a rush,” she says. “Every race I run is just to better my race plan, preparation and mindset.”

From balancing training with twins to soaking up the atmosphere at Stawell ... it's a race or maybe even more than that .....
