Australia has made a good start to their tour of South Africa. SA will be chasing over 400 to win the first test.
Australia have managed to win 10 of the 14 series played in South Africa, with the South Africa winning just twice - the last time coming almost 50 years ago in 1970.
AUSTRALIA IN ASIA/ THE SUBCONTINENT - Australia's Won 12 Test series including 4 in India. No Subcontinental team has every won a test series in Australia.
The Ashes Test series has been very even over the centuries. Australia 32 to England's 31.

That's the whole story, since cricket between nations started. Against South Africa we have a better record post apartheid.

This is the easiest web site I've used for cricket stats.

I have a feeling Warmer was pretty happy to run out AB…lol

Should be all over today the way the pitch, and Aussies are playing.

Super Rugby has already started. Pretty late in the season. Most South African's would be watching Rugby or Soccer by now. Christmas period is more peak cricket time. They do a Boxing Day test , as do we. Which means we'll never play SA in peak cricket season.

Markram would be spewing. He walked out there seeing them like beach balls and his team mates have totally bottled it on him, leaving him to drop the anchor and attempt to bat put the Test.

There seems to be some offensive taken with Warner and Lyons celebrations . Aren't you aloud to drop all ball on the batsmen after you've run him out and sledge his batting partner ?

Question , yesterday I heard the commentators talking about how they are /will be using the Duke ball in Sheffield Shield

Thoughts on that ??

They are using them now.
If it's just for the lead up before the tour to England while they are looking at batsmen that can play late swing…the it's a good idea.
Starc has caused SA all sorts of problems with the Kookaburra. Once the clouds come over the Kookaburra ball has been reverse swinging in South Africa. There is a difference with the seam and lacquer between the two balls but weather conditions and the bowlers action play as big or bigger part in making the ball swing (imo). .
