I know a bloke called Patrick who used to be Sandy a fair while ago

Moses passing game is far better than Austin's imo

austin would of been peter rowles for Wests & Mick Neil for Wests/Balmain. Thereabouts. Of course - this is not fact. I leave it to your discretion. I just love the history of Wests Tigers.

Agree

But doesn't mean he has a better passing game though

Wasnt comparing their playing qualities more the hype around them. Many supporters here view Austen as a journeyman. He is nothing of the sort. Had massive wraps as a junior but simply didnt fit the Gould/Cleary vision.

Still has a lot to learn - needs to run one out less - but will be a very good player although it may not be for us.

I don't see him as a journeyman. More than Albert Kelly type, who might need the right location to shine. Of course, for every Kelly there's a few Arana Taumatas.

And just like Jennings, he might still be at Penrith if they hadn't paid massive overs for him initially.

I think Austin would have done a better job than Anasta if he'd been playing 5/8 all year, but it appears the real goal is to get Brooks up to a team leader as soon as possible. Whether Anasta helps that happen is open to some debate, but that seems to be the plan.
