With Teddy probable gone for the season I would say let it be Austin's spot did well tonight nothing to lose as there seems nothing in reserve ATM.
 
Should keep FB spot next week.

Need another centre I think as Simona a week off. Lulia I'm guessing

He tries very hard. I wasn't a big fan of him until today. Rowe is injured as well so you'd think austin might stay at fullback now.

Austin is a good footballer after tonight he could play anywhere on the field and would not let the team down thanks blake for your great effort
 
he was ok but he was caught out a lot,knocked on and support play was non exsistant
he still did enough to keep us in the game but when he comes up against a better team we will be smashed
austin is a good player but hes over-rated on the boards

He went really well at the back tonight. I wanted him tried there earlier in the year (and wrote as such on here)when we lost Tedesco.

He is very versatile, which is good for us, and I think he suits us better there than in the six Anasta seemed to be helping him out a lot with the defensive talking/organisation that a fullback needs, but that will come.
 
Covered the position fine and gave his all. Made a few errors expected for someone with no experience at fullback, but that's expected. We were lucky we were playing the most useless halves combo in the NRL. Hopefully Simona is right to go next week as id prefer him at the back

he was caught out a few times go back and watch but its to be expected
love how so many of u guys used to hate sheens for playing people out of postion but u all want austinb at fb wtf

and im sure the next halfs we go against will prove austin isnt a fullback
 
The thing was that his positional play in defence at fullback was very good.
That isn;t something you can just 'pick up'. Knowing where to be in the last line of defence is something that normally takes a long time. Very impressive work for the first time at 1.

Top game tonight. I thought his overall positioning was very good. Not sure if I would keep him there for the rest of the season, I will need to think about that one a bit more.
 
There is no obvious replacement fullback waiting in the wings. As Rowe is injured. Moses has played fullback. But probably to bigger ask to put him there at NRL level. It was the experienced guys that got us home tonight.
 
Jy Hitchox played good in NSW Cup today…

He defence was good and he has speed and I believe could be a good replacement for Teddy.
