Auto-renewal - I just found out mine didn't work

I should have checked this earlier… however after phoning the club today I realised my memberships (x3) had not renewed automatically. The membership lady was lovely and I am confident that it will be resolved easily.

My post is just to get any who were like me that were waiting for their membership kits to arrive to check if the membership fees has gone out from your credit card.

Fingers crossed I get to keep my Leichhardt grandstand seats next to friends. The upside was I convinced another friend at work to join up today, so the mess added another Gold member...

Why is our membership constantly so difficult and problematic every single year.

No wonder our numbers are so low.

The broom has been put through nearly every other aspect of the club, the membership department needs to be next.

Sadly, you are not alone.

I received an auto renewal notice in say November(?) via email and have been getting the regular member notices since.

However, when I rang them a couple of weeks or so ago after not receiving the kit delivery notification, I was dismayed to find that I/we were not members. Apparently I was a "primary" member for a mate that did get automatically renewed.

Though I regularly check the balance of my accounts, as I spend a fair amount via credit cards each month, particularly on one card that requires an SMS code to delve further, it is not an amount that I would normally take notice of. As such, I had no idea that there was a problem.

I hope that our kits arrive before round five or so, again :unamused:

I believe that the membership team has pretty much turned over in the last 12 months. I hope they iron out these problems as they would be impacting numbers.

Most of this is an NRL issue as the root cause is the online portal from Salesforce.com

Someone from Salesforce (one of the fastest growing companies in the world) should be held to account.
