Ava Seumanufagai and Kyle Lovett set to resign

Wit the reduction of interchanges next season the back 3 will be Siro, Lawrence and Lovett.
Taupau will move to front row.
The backrowers in all clubs will need to play 80 minutes every game.
Lovett will be a lot better in his second year of FG, same as Siro this year.

I'm not so sure. I think most clubs will do the 20 minutes on/20 minutes off with their props and lock, leaving 2 interchanges for emergencies. The real pressure will be on the 2nd row to play 80 minutes each week.

Will definitely make it harder for Cherrington to get a go.

Happy for Ava to remain a part of the club, Lovett…well I feel the money could be better spent.

Would be welcome news about Ava, and I can live with Lovett staying. He'll be better for the experience this year and if we can't afford to sign a quality back-rower he will do the job.

Not sure if its the experience factor though
Most times in defence he doesnt put his body on the line and that says a lot about his courage

Against Brisbane he tripped himself when he made an attempt to stop a Milford line break , i was amazed .

Didnt expect him to win the foot race but questioned the commitment
I remember players like Bryce Gibbs and Adam Blair would chase till the ball was put down for a try

I thought a Broncos' player ran a very good line of attack and Lovett just happened to be the player who came across to cover. I don't believe there was any lack of commitment. I do recall two line breaks made by the Broncos came through bad Sue defensive errors yet most believe he had a good game. Is it true Lovett has a boxing background?

Ava on the Souths display this year has shown the goods sign him long term 3-4 years won't cost much and is always improving. Lovett & Santi make me worry about the quality of our recruitment and coaching. Maybe I'm wrong but they look out of their depth in NSW Cup.

KYLE FEELS THE LOVE

Wests Tigers may have a fight on their hands to keep Kyle Lovett.

The club is keen on re-signing the backrower but we’re hearing the Gold Coast are sniffing around the 22-year-old.

Same article mentioned something about Marty and the Warriors. Seems like this is going to happen as well. But surely to goodness Kyle won't be resigned. 😛ray:

With Lovett - if we had any hope of signing a better option I'd be happy to let him go, otherwise resign him if he's not looking for too much money.
With Ava - I am inclined to agree with Snake and Milky - recently he has shown good signs but he could easily return to a lazy plodder once contracted. Hopefully the culture has improved enough by next season for him to have a dig and play to his potential.

I don't understand after providing an education of one season in the NRL, we move him on and what go through the same process again with another player? It doesn't seem like a good business d.

He will stay unless they make a ridiculous offer for him
