geeze, we just can't cop a break can we? I think this is worse than '06 now, the difference being we have had good depth this year.

Here's hoping next year we can get through with very few injuries and ailments

i'm no doctor, but i'm pretty sure Glandular doesn't just APPEAR instantly, it's a gradual thing that takes time to develop.
i dunno, seems a bit sus

well maybe not suprised.. he may be under instruction to not say anything so i dont know

this is what i asked anyway "i read u have glandular fever!? is this true!?" in what he answered Blake.P. Ayshford "On what"

So he needs to get a blood test ASAP!! It could just be a regular flu, which would still rule him out, or something big.

However, if it's just a regular flu, he could take some paracetamols and play on. He is a tough bloke.

he mentions that he had it when he was younger.

The health article linked says any relapse is short term and you can't get it again.

Could just be sore throat? :master:

Just featured it on Fox Sports news. It seems the sportsnewsfirst.com.au website is still the only source because even FSN had to get the dude who runs that website to come on as an phone interview to get the details.

Actually it can appear instantly. Between infection and first symptoms is about a month so you never really know when or how you got it but it hits you pretty suddenly and all you do is sleep. I started HSC in December and my marks have dropped about 15-20% for every subject. That's just personal experience but it can have a massive effect on your life, hope its not true, he's been on fire the past few weeks and carried carney on his back for 10 metres to score that try

If he has it he has to pull out not just for his own health, but for fear of spreading it thru the team.

If he does have it, I hope he goes out there and starts kissing everyone!!

but hopefully he doesn't have it.

Here's hoping its just chronic fatigue syndrome, he's ordered to stay in bed till Friday and comes out Friday night and has a blinder!!

CFS does not affect your throat - and it is equally as serious as Glandular Fever. CFS could ruin his entire off-season as well!

CFS….Must be the way he's carried the backline for the past few weeks...

Get well soon Aysh....
