Ayshford

That was by far the most disgraceful performance I've ever watched from a player. Ayshford literally did not care at all, his body language and attitude screamed "I don't care". I would of pulled him off, told him to pack his bags and flew him home alone without the team.

I wouldn't be playing Ayshford or Benji again this season.

Usually I think these kind of comments aren't useful as players do try but today with Ayshford you may well be correct , I've not seen a bloke look so clearly to not be trying.

Always been a fan of Blake, but there's no defending his efforts of late.

May as well give a young bloke a go.

I said last year that he was crap and was howled down. Well he is even crappier this year and today was bloody awful. Reggies next week or else.

Haha Sharkies enjoy his services. I can't wait for a centre pairing of Pomeroy and Ayshford, what a comedy that could be.

who knows maybe the Sharkies will unlock his true potential

(doubt it)

I just think its funny that you say people have short memories when they bag Blake, considering his 2010/11 form, but in another thread your bagging benji who's form in 2010/11 was arguably the best of his career.

Yes its funny purely because people are saying Blake was always crap, which is untrue.

The only way any of what you are saying could be even remotely true is if I came out right now and said "Benji was always a below average first grader". I've never said that, so nothing you are saying makes any sense.

TBH I think you must have read something that wasn't there and now you can't admit you were wrong.

Ok mate.

Second tier salary cap says no.

We can most definitely bring Koro in and TimSim to centre. Really hope that happens.

I'd drop Lawrence before Ayshford though - that's only if Lawrence is leaving too.

I wish I could defend Blake but I can't. He was terrible today. To make it worse, his body language backed it up. Looked far from interested. If he's in the team next week i'll be filthy after that. Move Simona to the centres and bring in Koroibete. Blake doesn't deserve first grade next week.

Should be hooked at halftime. Absolutely useless and clearly not interested.

This guy is a talentless hack. He can't be picked next week.

I was on sharks forums and they said his a crap signing and is so slow lol thanks agian for signing him off us. we made a better signing in Keith Lulia anways.

I think Blake is more worried about ensuring his hair stays in place than actually playing footy. He has always been a very average player except when the defence is blown apart. Against a structured defence he has always been very poor.

He was a good footballer and rightly deserved praise from people on this forum.

Would love to know what attrubutes he possesses that made him a good footballer. Please elaborate.

He WAS a strong runner, he HAD a decent offload, he HAD energy and drive, he WENT backwards, he WAS once a solid developing NRL player with potential.

Notice the past tense is being used. You can't erase 2010/11 by closing your eyes and pretending they never happened.

He was not always this bad, it doesn't become true just because you repeat it.

First you said he was a good player, now you are saying he was a solid developing NRL player? Which one is it? There is a big difference.

He is an average player at best who played one good season of football.

He is slow for an outside back, he is a hog who rarely passes the ball and he's always been an average defender. And to say he had energy is just ridiculous, he's always looked lethargic on the field, even when in form.

I agree with LaT here. He was a good developing player but after last years injuries he deserved a chance again this year after his form in 2011.

I will remember him for 2011\. With his tackle breaking ability and a great offload he was a great prospect- hope the sharks can make him a better player than we did. Another player who went backwards this year due to whatever reason.

The way he played yesterday, he shouldn't be playing for any club for a year.

He was a good player.

The developing part is because I believe he had more in him.

Coming out now and creating threads about how you and others supposedly saw through the glowing misguided praise of this forum is nothing more then a self pleasuring exercise. So I hope it feels good for you.

You're the one who had a go at me in the first place merely because I said Ayshford was always an average player at best, now you say it's self pleasure. Please. :crazy
