Ayshford's future?

Lots of news articles are mentioning Ayshford as being released, has this been confirmed or is it just speculation? What was his contract status? Another verbal intention to be extended without the actual paper being produced?
 
I know he has been released. It's reality now, not sure about the link, but the article is in the thread "Farah considers deal with Parramatta"

I've heard that Souths and Parra were interested, but I can't find anything official on his release.

I guess we will find out in the coming weeks.

Heighno & Ryan are still not officially confirmed from Sharks or WTs either
Humble is media speculation.

The only confirmed loss Ive seen so far is Moors

Dont trust media, you cant even trust clubs either these days (Moltzen, Doust)

I remember a short year or two ago Aysh was consistently bending and breaking the line regulalrly
The teams been crap this year, he's not alone

Agree ayshford will come good and should not be let go. He's young and has potential. Plus who would play right centre instead??

He looks very disinterested each game….no passion at all....makes up the numbers.....defence below par. Time to move on.

I'm not sure I agree with letting Ayshford go but please let's not pretend he's a raw prospect just out of 20s: he's 24\. He's also a week older than Michael Jennings.
 
I remember Blake making a song and dance about how he'd muscled up for this season (2012) and that his extra weight gave him confidence … Well in hindsight, he seems to have become lost between centre and lock ... ie he lost any zip he once had whilst not quite muscling up enough to be shifted to the back of the scrum.
I want Ayshford to stay, and concentrate on being a three-quarter. Lose the bulk, rekindle the spark, sprint training deluxe ... Become a Justin Hodges type centre.
 
He isn't released , just given permission to look around at other clubs , if he doesn't get a good offer else whether he will stay

I doubt he is leaving ….. He is not going to get a big money offer from anyone

Could do a direct swap with Jennings? Gould has made no secret of the fact that he wants to release Jennings.

In 2011 Ayshford had a good season, but this year he has been dissapointing to say the least. I would have gotten rid of him before Ryan. Ryan was our best back this year and even though i dont find him endearing I would have kept him for sure.

While not confirming anything, Elliott says the likes of off-contract Tigers centre Blake Ayshford and Bulldogs half Trent Hodkinson are the type of players he's got in his sights.

He says they're certainly players they'll be looking at.

Matt Elliott says he's also sounded out another candidate for a second assistant alongside Tony Iro, who seems keen.

That means were really close to signing Jennings please be true what a team were setting up for next year.
