We can’t sign Brooks on current form.

8 weeks with his worst game at today's level and he gets another contract. I'd like to see a couple of quality games as well. If not it's probably better to just go with Wakeham or someone similar.

Brooks running it on the 4th multiple times was terrible but even then not once did AD and Laurie step up - both went missing big time today.

This is where I think Brooks cops it and it's a misread of his game. He isn't the guy to regularly get it on the 5th and win you the game. He runs it on the 4th because the expectation is that there is a better or at least as good option for the 5th tackle. It wasn't just AD and Laurie. Api had his chances when Brooks was caught on the 4th and he didn't do enough either.

We just look poorly coached/drilled with very little spark in attack. Our spine need to take most of the blame but to me Brooks was our best spine player. Api is starting to look like he can create something.

We have a dud spine. I'm not stating Brooks is some world beater. Api is class but he is a bit out of form right now. We don't have any gun outside backs.

If the press talk of Teddy possibly being moved on by the Chooks to accommodate Suuali's fullback ambitions and him having some difficulty locking in an extension with them has any substance at all, it may be worth an enquiry to see if there's any chance of him returning to WT. A very long shot I know but if we had someone like him there today and last week we probably win both games. Most likely a waste of time but we desperately need a game breaker and they don't come much better than Tedesco!

I don't know inreckon we may come at him with the cheque book again or do what his manager wants and extend Brooks and land Moses

The club can't re-sign Brooks at the minute, he absolutely has to earn an extension this time. Can't just keep chucking good money after bad with the worry that someone will come in and take a bloke who is sub par from us.

Moses wants to win a premiership, he's a slim chance of doing it at Parra, he's no chance of doing it here.
