Ballin - Another Knee Reco perhaps

@Eddie said:
Why do you keep going about Pascoe?

The guy has not even been here 12 months.

I don't really have a strong opinion of him either way with him to be honest yet.

People say a coach needs 3 or 4 years to clean up the mess but your all over this bloke like a rash despite Mayer and co leaving the place in turmoil.

Im scratching my head.

Ceo of the year? when did i ever say that?

He signed ballin and then did nothing about Farah. Duh?

Well then in that case he made the right call to keep Farah.

Otherwise we would have no hooker for the next 12 rounds.

Lucky he didnt send him on his way

LOL

I would suggest that from the length of the recovery and the fact he is now facing the knife again, the original operation failed. That is not a good sign for the pending recovery.

Hindsight is a great thing in life ..things just do not work out at times ,good luck Matt sorry it did not work out for you .

Was not hindsight for a number of fans who said signing an ageing hooker coming off a knee reco was a disaster waiting to happen.

You slam the club for being inept but give them a free pass here

Agenda driven stuff.

He was signed by CEO of the year Justin Pascoe.

Wasn't he signed by the other Penrith bloke that had a short stopover at the tigers

Only Cherrington, Liddle and Halatau

Very risky signing at the time, unfortunate and bad luck for Matt, you'd think that would be pretty much it for him, be difficult to really come back from a 2nd one.

The difference between Farah and Ballin is quite obvious. Ballin is or was a winner. Farah is not a winner much like the rest of our side. The sooner we all move on from the Farah era and bring some winners to the club the better. Just my opinion.

Pascoe started late sept , ballin signed in Nov.

Its a bit of a sweeping statement to be honest.

Adam Blair was a winner.

But he didnt win at our club.

Yeah, they only count as hookers if your having a shot at taylor. Note that Ballin is out, these guys are no longer hookers.

Well if Farah is off to ESL at the end of the year they better start looking for a no9 for 2017, because you would think Ballin would be long odds to be fit for round 1 and nothing we have on our books is ready for the role of a starting no9.

Well gallagher where were they on Sunday at Allianz??

None of them good enough to start over ET?

Coach obviously thinks that.

Dumb acquuisition from the get go ….
Let's sign up pensioners with bung knees ...
Where do I sign up ?

Sign on the dotted line Hobbo if you are a pensioner

…......................................

I"ve got one bung knee and ones been replaced, but I"m scared of big blokes, then again I could play in our front row.

A utility and 2 rookies.

Should I include Elijah Taylor as well?

JT liked him in there.

We better pay Robbie 900k for next year and keep him here. Even if we were to sign Segeyaro, DeGois, Basptise or someone else as a replacement, they may get injured and so a destabilising influence past his best is clearly the best option.

Segayaro is 25 and not coming off a knee reco and as far as I know not out until Round 12 next yr.

Very strange comparison

lol

Segeyaro
D Cook

But we'll get De Gois .

Another quality signing by the club. Feel for the bloke himself.

This is the general feeling.

However some are having a hard time getting their head around it.

No one is having a go at Ballin.

Ridiculous decision IMO.
But according to you Farah is our only hooker left so I guess you think he had no other choice.
