Balmain Leagues Club Development

I asked this question before but didnt get any responses so pls forgive me for trying again.

Whats happening with this development that is supposed to guarantee the survival of the Balmain side of the joint venture.

Benny Elias was the main man behind the scenes with the funding etc but as hes doing work with the WA franchise etc, how has that affected his work with the leagues club development? Is he still involved? Is the development still going ahead or has the government, greens or local tree huggers stopped it?

Any info ? Anyone?

Last I heard it was in a state government planning committee. That was a couple of months ago.

Still moving on although still a ways away from anything happening.

Here you go… Love the top poster who is concerned about destroying the pristine environment that is Victoria Road. Where will our kids go to buy used cars and imported furniture?????
