Sure. Make it a magpie riding a tiger for all I care. Won't mean we get more bums on seats while your loosing games to the current wooden spooners.

What the article is referring to is Balmain FC considering selling their share to a private entity.. Essential for WT as they are $11m in debt and they cannot contribute financially to WT. They can still contribute from a football perspective (juniors).

'Balancing the WT image' is ensuring WT is NOT perceived or portrayed as a re-badged Balmain but equally preserves the legacy of both 1908 clubs.

The actual mascot is irrelevant, when the sides merged Tigers had the stronger brand.

Humphreys was WT CEO, not Balmain CEO. So whats the connection between the article stating Balmain were in discussions with a private investor, and Humphreys as WT CEO meeting with this guy?

Wonder how it would look if our logo was like that but with a Tiger and Magpie instead of a Lion and Eagle. Ok maybe it is too sophisticated and maybe the kiddies would prefer a ridiculous head and paws motif instead. But all that stuff is petty detail in comparison to onfield success and financial stability.

I say leave it like that and approach the Armenian government for funding (That's the national emblem)

No, actually I've not quit while I was behind. I stopped because with GNR4LIFE it is like talking to a brick. The name calling "little girl" bullshit is immature rot. The guy is obscenely biased towards the magpies, he twists every word that anyone opposing him ever says, he pushes his CSS agenda all [This word has been automatically removed]ing day and night, and habitually uses the "at what point in my post did I say that" line over and over.
Not every voice or opinion has to be taken literally. People are not as stupid as he so often tries to point out.

In response to your question about embracing Wests as you've embraced Tigers, I happily go to CSS games without qualms. The fact I'm in Magpie country doesn't even enter my mind. Never has.

All this rubbish about telling me to embrace it, i thought i made it clear that i loved the Tigers, i was just seeing if the reverse worked for people like Simon. As i said in the other thread, that is one of the true marks of having accepted and embraced the JV
