Balmain SG Ball and Harold Matthews Round 1 squads named

Balmain Junior Rugby League have finalised their SG Ball and Harold Matthews squads for their respective matches this weekend.

The teams will play their first match of the season on Saturday, February 15 against North Sydney at TG Milner Oval. Harold Matthews will kick-off at 12:00pm followed by SG Ball at 1:30pm.

According to Bears twitter account we lead 20-14 with 20 minutes to go after we led 14-12 at the break. They also said we led 20-8 at one point so take that with a grain of salt…
 
Problems with the scoreboard at the ground. HT score was 14-8 and FT was 22-18 as said.

Good to get the wins, but would hope to be beat norths by more than that in SG Ball, they have been very weak for many years

I think you will find that the SG Ball team has a number of 1st team players out with injuries substained from the pre-season and trials.

The team should improve with their return and as the comp progresses.
