Game has now been pushed back to 5:15pm and will be a 30 minute hitout only. Rain must have really hit the ground hard.

i got there after the storm around 4-30 and surprisingly the ground was in perfect condition like it was never rained on ..It was the Mariners soccer officials who were concerned as the Mariners use it as their home ground and it was there decision to postphone the delay and to cut short the state cup to just a 30 min game.

Think John Grant played in the 19 jersey. Looked very fast when he made a break down the right wing and through a great pass back to the inside when he approached the full back (though I would've loved to see him try and beat the fullback himself).

Also produced a decent finish to score in the right corner. Didn't get a chance to see what his runs out of dummy half were like as the game only went for 30 minutes and BRET were on the front foot for most of the game.

That was not John Grant guys, it was Jye Hitchcock but both players look very similar. His pass inside off the break you are referring to was first class and he played very well.

Grant only played last 20 or so mins of first grade.

It was definately Grant playing in the number 19\. Im unsure of why he was in that number. In the match report Cuzzo states that it is Grant that scored the try described above.
