Since the parra scandal has now unfolded and we've got some pretty clear cases of incompetency and refusal to take blame, just wondering if anyone has changed their thought on the Wests Tigers ownership structure?

Is everyone still happy for us to be controlled by the leagues clubs again with no checks and balances ?

I don't see what your getting at? Only a leagues club structure would be able to cheat? Whats the connection your making?[/quote

I don't see what your getting at either. Melbourne weren't run by a leagues club and they were the biggest rorters ever.

You are right, Melbourne isn't the right structure either - but it was more of a lone wolf scenario than any major governance flaws.

Parramatta was just sheer incompetence and collusion. That's what I'm getting at really.

I actually think our 3-2-2 is probably the best board structure in the league right now. We took the club forward 10 steps that day.

Yes leagues club directors are all shady characters. We need independant, professional business people involved. I hear that Nathan Tinkler and Salim Mehajir have bit more free time available.

Maybe Ol nick Di Girolamo could help us out with a bottle of grange? But, it's not about shadiness, it's about having people on the board selected solely on skills and experience… And even better, having those people with the majority vote.

And for tinklers failings, he left the knights in a far better state than when he entered.
