People need to be aware that every single one of us thinks their own unique way when our previous allegiance is brought up
People need to respect others views, beliefs, ideals…we all have one thing in common but we are all very different.
I myself said if the Magpies folded in 99 I wouldnt follow the game....two or three years later i changed my views after watching WTs from a distance....and began to follow and support WTs seriously...took a while but thats just me.....every one of us is different
Some with prior attachments need that link to remain
Some with prior attachments dont need that any more
Some without any prior links...well...you get the drift

If these people cared about the WT's as much as they say they do they need to bury their Wests /Balmain aspirations / past

This is as good as it will ever get for either JV member , things will only get worse and they are dragging the WT's down with them

The scary issue is most Wests and Balmain JV supporters know this , and just couldn't give a crap

It is getting to a stage when a simple decision needs to happen

Fans choose the WT's only or watch the WT's slowly die

And then what will Balmain and Wests mean

@ Ink I was very much like you at first…hesitant to support I suppose half a football team,but after two or three years I really enjoyed supporting the team and as I said earlier I'm 100 percent behind the Wests Tigers.
I had the opportunity to go to a game in 2005 at Campbelltown stadium and when I saw the Magpies boys beating their drums and wearing their Maggies Jumpers and cheering for the WestsTigers really cemented my support of the team,also saw heaps of Balmain supporters wearing the old black and gold jumpers and I thought how good is this....this is the sort of thing we need now united in the support for one team Wests Tigers.......

Your kidding right Geo .

Financially , either side of the JV has been sound for any length of time and rarely at the same time

Decisions , they spite each other no matter what even if someone has had a decent idea

They both still lived in the 80's ,never moved forward with the times and left us with substandard conditions to develop a season long competitive unit on or off field

Many of the board members haven't had a clue , had passion for the club yes but that means nothing when they are continually making the wrong calls

Jobs for the boys mentality

Can't see past common sense in regards to having one home ground because they are scared to relinquish their "so called power "

Forever put their own interests first

I've pushed for the JV members to embrace the WT's and forget about their issues and Wests Tigers supporters to not be concerned if Wests or Balmain don't survive

WT's = future

My concern now is Balmain supporters are now going to try and hold the board to ransom by threatening to walk as WT's supporters

Let them go I say Geo , the future will be better without them

As I said …All the issues you mentioned are from the Past...they hold no baring on WESTS Tigers of the future from a business point of view...if fans want to get their knickers in a twist over them you're right who cares...

Btw Wests have always met their financial obligations to the JV from inception...
