A MASSIVE Welcome to Fantasy Premier League 25/26 - Wests Tigers Forum-style

Game week 1 is in the bag, scores are in, and the comps are off and running for another Fantasy Leagues Season.

Well done everyone; no matter what your score was, it’s only the first week down of a long season, so onward and upwards from here.

Just to recap:

First off, give yourself a big hand – you’re one of 10,482,270 players world-wide who have (so far) joined the EPL Fantasy Comps comp – WOW!!

Forum Classic League 2024/2025

Real SoSoBad (@vlad)
has jumped out of the box like Usain Bolt, topping the scores with 63 points.

Slip Slot Slap (@western suburbs boy) is close up with 61 points, from Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one) and Laroche (@tiger_one) locked together on 57 points.

Relegation FC (@Harvey) is next with 55 points from Fleet Feet (@Criz) is next with 52 points. Livin Saliba Loca! (@mtd#2) is next with 46 points.

Delta Blues (@guyofthetiger) follows with 45 points and, bringing us home after Game week 1, Too De Ligt to Quit (@Leica_Tiger) scored 31 points.

So BANG!! The leaderboard shows just how close the scores are, and highlights both the ease of scoring well (when the players do their part!) and the fickle nature of scoring points or not. Like, this round the many of the so-called big hitters in FPL were not big scorers – so extra congrats to all our above-average scores this week.

Please check the Premier League Fantasy Website for full details.

Game week 2 kicks off early morning Saturday 23 August AEST, so remember to fix your teams before then.

And good luck everyone.

Finally, just as a tinsy incentive to maybe help, I will remind you that Saturday 23 August is National Sponge Cake Day, while Sunday 24 August is National Waffle Day; and therein lies the clue: pick your fantasy teams, then sit back and the points will follow as sweet as whatever treat you choose (me, I’m more of a Victoria Sponge type with a cuppa!)

Forum H2H 25/26

Here, with this season’s H2H comp having 9 entrants, being a weekly format of mate against mate, we have 4 winners, with the other player against “ FPL average.”.

Congrats Game week 2 winners, being this week to Bon Vivant (Mrs tiger_one), Laroche (@tiger_one), Real SoSoBad (@vlad), Slip SDlot Slap (@western suburbs boy) and Relegation FC who defeated FPL average.

Each winner is on 3 points on our leader board after the first week’s games, with the rest on 0 points.

Please check the Premier League Fantasy Website for full details.

Game-week 2 starts early Saturday morning 23 August AEST so a friendly reminder to fix your teams before then.

So, after the team selections, the tinkering, and then the actual games – it’s all now LIVE and a massive thank you to everyone for being part of the season long FUN.

If not too sure at any time, check any of the multitude of web resources, f/b, twitter (aka “x”) – there’s a zillion “experts” all wanting to say they know!

Choose wisely.
We just need to release our own:
