I would have her back also but i doubt she would take the position knowing she had 2 backstabbers on the board

@TillLindemann Agree but a Labour person would be much better they certainly now how to use and distribute paper articles that are full of cash ... is this what we have been looking for.Brown paper bag anyone 😂

@jadtiger I think Marina Go was initially selected by the NRL as one of the independent board members and then was selected as the chair person.

These ex-politicians can never keep their snout out of the trough.

Never a trough big enough BT

Off topic I know but I heard yesterday that federal politicians get an $89 a day allowance for lunch. FMD.

Yeah, yet expect people to provide a roof over their heads, food and clothe themselves, plus travel to endless interviews on about $35 a day in a fruitless search for many trying to get employed, but sadly never will.

Meanwhile, Barry will soon be entertaining the similarly entitled on bottles of Grange etcetera at the people's expense.

I don't get it, he was probably appointed Chair in good faith, then got an awesome offer for an Ambassador role.

From what I understand about the foreign service, it's a top gig and lots of pollies and academics and public servants are lined up to get overseas postings.

Good luck to the bloke, I'd certainly never hate on a person who got a terrific job offer.

I can see your point and agree to a point. But I’d ask: whatever happened to “I just gave my word to the Tigers so I can’t take this opportunity”? Like he’s only been here 5 minutes. Surely he owes us whatever tenure he discussed initially?

I don't get it either ..Most Chairs are neither seen nor heard ..apart from Unca Nick I couldn't tell you who the Chairs of the other Clubs are without google...

CEO is the face and spokesperson of the Club..ours has a big forehead..

Maybe somebody with a previous affiliation to the club and Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University :relaxed:

He filled is role as Chairman, just because you don't hear from him does not mean he isn't fulfilling his role!
