That the best you can do to deflect answering the thrust of my reply and this thread? On a scale of 1-10 for being a crooked politician he's a .25 compared to the previous government or do you prefer Obeid as Chairman? Seems your more politically motivated than what's best for the club.

I understand the supposed candidate is a pollie, but it's not a politics topic so leave that for the politics thread.

The thread is about a possible candidate for CEO of the club, are we supposed to ignore that part of the persons past , because he's a politician . We don't know anything about a lot who can apply for the spot, and they may be liars too,
But you would hope they were honest people,
Why do we need a person who is a proved liar, and also takes kickbacks

No you don't have to ignore the persons past,,,,but the political "Labor V Liberal who are the biggest liars" has no place in this thread it is as tedious as Wests v Balmain…that is what CB is referring to...

Geo hit the nail on the head. Fair enough if you want to discuss his merits based on previous employment, but as we have seen one innocuous, throwaway comment can turn into a factional debate, save that crap for the politics thread.

I couldn't care less about which side of politics he's on, just about what has been shown about his character, I wouldn't care if he was the local fruiterer or green grocer, my posts were purely about the sort of person he was shown to be.
