Back in 2004 we actually lost in consecutive weeks
50 - 0 to saints then 56 - 0 to roosters

I remember the roosters game was at cambo and the score was 40 nil at half time and Bryce Gibbs was actually crying whilst sitting on the bench. Man I got drunk that night.

And to think the year afyter in 2005 we go on to win the comp.Rugby league is an amazing game.Keep your heads up boys and soldier on.This year we play our young stars and its onwards and upwards next year.Heck it was only two years ago the dogs were just about the worst team going around.

Talk about fair weather supporters…I didn't think the Tigers were that bad against Manly.. the coaching was a bit rusty I never thought with the injury list that a win was on the cards .Manly are contenders and the Tigers didn't get a thrashing also Manly pretty much full strength Glenn Stewart the only one. Will the Tigers beat the Storm NO not at that level yet. Potter has to contend with many that were bought by someone else and shouldn't be at the club ...there are at least 5 players that should be shown the door today but are contracted. This is work in progress and will take some time ..I get good vibes from Coach Potter but he needs a broom and a thick chq book to take the club up the next notch as the player group as is will be going nowhere . Things were never going to be great this year but it could have a bite in the tale come the second half of the season.

Remember sheens going on about how a bad video ref call at the start of the dragons game with moodie being denied a try affecting the game

Can't recall that, it definitely sounds stupid from Sheens but at the start of the game when momentum means everything scoring first results in a boost to the confidence which can affect the final outcome of the contest for sure.

If they play like they did against manly they will get beat by 50 I think we had a better game plan last year under sheens and we battled to beat them last year with the big three cronk, slater and smith missing through origin duty, personally I don't rate mick potter much as a coach our two worst performances against the knights and the northern eagles, I think that mick potter will be about as good as terry lamb was and you know how good he was

Will be travelling down to Melbourne for this game, whilst it's going to be a tall order for Wests Tigers to win, I will be impressed if they put in for the whole game and make Storm earn their win (if they win) :sign:

those are the 5 teams that are going to kill us by 30 plus points all year. we just can't handle those types of teams that actually run in the middle and attack the edges. and we just plain never beat those teams anyway.

we always beat the cowgirls because they play the game like us and attack out wide we can only beat teams that play like that
