Beau Ryan signed for Penrith

Agree with you Sabre,

Good player though I feel that he may be a distraction to others

Not confirmed Just yet guys….

If it is the case, then good luck to Beau.

While not a superstar, he was one player you could never accuse of playing without ticker.

I don't want him to go. He's heavily criticized and most of the time it's unwarranted.

He's been going great since he came back - he's one of few backs who actually runs hard. Solid winger and could be a great centre cover… no idea why he wasn't used there when Lawrence was out.

Would prefer keep him will need back ups with first grade experience, but as long as heighno is staying then it's not the worst news..
I hope we keep brown I think he's quality very underrated…
Beau always gives 100%, got plenty of time for beau

i'll put his bags in the taxi… good riddance

Dude, that is a disgusting call against someone who bleeds black and gold!Obviously a lot more than you do.

All the best Beau, absolute champion of a bloke who always gave 110%!

doesn't he bleed white?

After weeks of negativity at the club we are starting to get some great news.
First the announcement of Blair & then the departure of Ryan

We have a lack of pace and Beau is unfortunatley part of it.

He has always given his heart and soul to the team and for that I am thankfull.

We have alot of good and quick young prospects who will be cheaper and the added plus is that the demolition of two of the little players cliques will be complete

I assume you mean the ones involving Robbie and Bunji?

Good call Smeg. For a bloke who weighs 85kg and plays on the wing, Ryan should be a rocket. Unfortunately he isn't and the Tigers have a couple of very good young finishers pushing through the ranks. Good luck to Beau at Penrith.

Be nice if something official actually comes out sometime soon, the SMH article saying that Blair's deal will be announced also said Ryan was contracted for next year and that only came out today….

In any event if this is true, I'll actually be sad to see Beau go, he plays with a lot of heart and certainly loves the club, but like Johnny Morris who always tried, unfortunately just wasn't up to the task speed wise.

how is the departure of ryan good news then?

Yeah i admit i was being a bit of a smart ass with my post.
Im just not a fan & i think his TV career has taken over his footy

Sure he gave 100% but i don't think he is of 1st grade standard IMO

Did u also read in RLW in the mole secrion that WT have told the mediators of this forum to watch posts cause we always get the scoops of player movements and so on before the media does

The more I think about it the more im disappointed that he is leaving.
He does a good, reliable job on the wing and is all heart.
Good Luck to him

Agree. I remember a tight game vs the Dragons at Kogarah, maybe 2008 - a Soward chip kick 20 metres out from our line was fielded by Beau who ran diagonally to link up with Benji who then outpaced the the defence to score in the corner. One of my fav tries in recent years. Thanks Beau and good luck.
