I know he is contracted 4 next year but is he staying. I saw on here not long ago that he might be heading of to cowboys next season. Anybody heard anything?

Haven't heard anything , but thought he was contracted to us for next year.

Oh, and also….Beau is one hilarious dude!

Haven't heard this Cowboys rumour, but he seems pretty comfortble on the Footy Show promoting his Tigers passion so I doubt he'd be elsewhere in 2010.

And yeah, he is one hilarious guy. When he painted Tigers on that kid's face I absolutely lost it. But the Billy Slater thing on the Grand Final Footy Show was a scream.

start with

2) tuiaki
5) tupuo

14) ryan

once a secondrower comes off move one of the wingers too the forwards and ryan to the wing could work!

No,Ryan will not be in the 13,and therefore not in the 17,he is a waste of a bench spot, especially if Cayless and Lima sign.

ryan cops it a lot on this forum.
i think some people are too harsh on him.
he is a good player. does his job every game.

agreed. I would prefer him to tupou, he is a more consistent player and he can tackle and catch.

I wouldnt of agreed about 6 months ago, but I do now.
He is very safe, makes no errors, can tackle.
And he finishes well.
Besides a lack of pace and size, what more could you want from your winger?

Im not a fan to be honest.I would prefer Brown/Daniela & Toupo
But i think he will get first crack which im not entirely against, his form at the back end of the season was good
But if he brings that crap that he showed at the start of the season, the critics will line up again

I think that towards the latter half of the season, he improved a fair bit. I used to despise having him in the team but now i don't mind him.

Is toupo even an option, the last i heard he was only signed for $500 and they were waiting for tests on his knee before they signed him further???

Maybe with Sheens's plan to move Ayshford to lock (despite him shredding it in the centres), and with Lote coming on board, we might see:

1\. Moltzen
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Marshall
7\. Taumata

I really dont think Lui will start the year in first grade, same with Lazarus and Mullaney. All three need some time in the State Cup. Since Mullaney has started shining in the 2nd half of the year, the signing of Taumata, Lazarus coming back, and Joel Jackson (recently signed with us for 2 years) and Sama Sauvao improving in the 20s, it really emphasises how pointless signing Brown and Daniela is. I'll be happy to eat my words if they perform well, but Sheens is obviously willing to give the reserve graders a go as he had Pritchard as 18th man for the last two games and we couldve spent the money elsewhere.

Beau is a marginal first grader who as others have mentioned lacks size & pace,& therefore penetration, but is steady & reliable & positions himself well in attack & defence.Think Luke Burt from Parra, who has similiar attributes, but has surprised everyone & developed into a genuine 1st grader.
If in the next yr Beau develops like Burt he may get another gig with us,but if not theres plenty of talent in the wings(pardon the pun).He also may be better suited to centre or even back up fullback.
As for Brown & daniella, the only sense in both signings is that we surely didnt know how good the talent in the lower grades really was we we signed them..?

He's on board for next year. It was reported that the clean out surgery on his knee went well so he'll train in the off-season.

Tigers return to training on November 2.

He was awful at the start of the season, and rightfully copped a lot of stick, but his finish to the season was very good I think. He was back to his 2008 form, where he didn't do much wrong at all, and finished plenty of good backline movements.

Ryan is a player that 99% is as safe as houses but when he dose make a blunder its usually a beauty. I think he adds a lot to the team and can cover 3 4 5 and 1, pretty handy footballer to have on your books and a lower range price tag
