Ive never been one to bag him, but i think its time to go. Some argued he hit back last week, but he did nothing at all…and this week he was terrible again. I really like the guy, and if i was to pick a team on heart i'd have him in it, but if i was using my head, he has to go.

I agree, I love the BEAU but he seems to be adopting a "Fitzhenry" shuffle !!!

In his defence he did score 2 tries. I'd like to see brown on the wing when mckinnon comes back

Yes, I agree with OP - let's not forget the knock on that led to the Eels revival…

don't listen to Gus. if beau hadn't got in there they would have scored on that play. Unless, of course your talking about the other one a bit earlier on.
i think you're being a bit harsh saying he's gotta go though. he scored two tries. he's never gonna be a star but he's solid enough. I leave him on the wing and leave brown at fullback.

Beaus a hard one to figure out…personally i'd still keep him. It must be hard for him to get into the game when he is constantly starved of the ball by his extremely selfish center.

I just think lately he has been under alot pressure from the fans and media since the Souths game. He needs to get his head down and pay the type of footy he was playing earlier this year.
As Pratenpark said he is never going to be a star footy player.

yeah, lets bag a guy who scored 2 tries, made over 100m and 10 tackle breaks, and ran the ball up the most out of any tiger today.

i can't believe u are having a dig at him for trying to clean up a ball off his wing…........ some peeps :frowning:

He's getting a bit like Fitzhenry for me but trying a bit too hard. I think Daniela would offer more. Even if Meaney can come back and prove his fitness he should come in.

He's just a 100% confidence player. He did a couple of silly things (ayshford dropped the ball and watched it go over the sideline and Benji's pass which he gathered and then ran out with) and I think it just haunts him. He can't get it out of his head, so he tries harder, but he's not focused on the game anymore so it doesn't work out.

This is how I play my sport anyway, I can't get rid of things that I've screwed up on. The Souths game, if you watch the tape, his demise is very much caused by that 40/20 kick he tried to keep in field. And in the Canberra game, his awesome plays had to do with some crucial tackles he made.

I still want him in our football team though, because if he does do those good things he's great!

Oh My…....Ryan was great....

Go Beau....

1st bloke in when we score....

Understand he scored 2 tries, but honestly.. really looks like a reserve grader out there..doesnt have power, doesnt possess speed,& most importantly doesnt use his head.
Worse still is that because of his media profile he over-vaules his expectations of himself,& attempts stuff that he's just not capable of.
Liability.Weve gotta have better

Ryan has always been a average first grader. Nothing great but he has made some real blunders at very vital times over the past month which has put the team under heaps of pressure. I am not saying drop him but he needs to pick his game up and improve. Scoring 2 tries to me on the wing is what he is paid to do. Getting meters out of the red zone and quick ptb…that is what he is paid to do. I believe he will start playing better but just needs to relax and go back to playing how he was playing a while back.

The bloke really worries me…..there are plenty of Steve Mavins in him....sort of player who could cost us a finals match....but who is his replacement?
