Anyone think Pritchard maybe?

lol yee we should be praying sheens picks him, hes was a gun for wests last year, i think scored close to 20 tries or something, so i think he should be a given a go this match. But Knowing Sheens he will probaly put Fitzy on the wing just like the good old days :brick:

Would love to see Pritchard given a crack, but the likelihood of that happening is 1,000,000/1.

Can't believe i'm saying this, but i'd prefer Fitzhenry on the right wing to cover the absence of Ryan ahead of turnstiles Brown and Daniela. My only fear then, is that he may play one of them on the bench rather than an additional forward in the like of Mataka or Gower. But fat chance of that occurring one would think.

Ideally Pritchard with the bench to remain in tact. Now, where are my rosary beeds?

The love child will be an easy walk up …...after seeing Brown playing for BRET last Saturday , I don't want him near first grade.
It would be nice for Prichard to get a debut , but chances are very slim

Brown - reserve grade at Cronulla, the worst team in the comp.

Daniela - reserve grade at Penrith, hardly one of the better teams in the comp.

I know everyone likes depth, but your depth players need to be half reasonable, not players who couldn't even cut the mustard at mediocre sides.

My guess is fitzhenry to start and mitch brown to come onto the bench. But i would love to see taumata get a run as our utility bench player but really boubt thats gonna happen.

Considering he didn't get a run in the trials… it's probably a good assumption. Past that... isn't he injured anyhow?

Doesn't Sheensy have wraps on Pritchard? I know there's this fun belief of some grand conspiracy to keep him from First grade, but realisticly this is the first op he's had to come into first grade… Last year Ryan and TnT had the wing spots and TnT was injured late in the seasons and Sheens probably didn't want to risk another rookie at that time in the year. I think Pritchard's a good chance...

Gee ur on the ball.

He played the first trial….....rolled his ankle.

He also played for BRET last weekend, and looked very sharp to boot.

Lucky we got blokes like you around…

That said... that's great he played well... hopefully he keeps it up and gets a nod!

Off the top i would suggest Fitzhenry would come straight into the line up. That was until i actually thought about it. Does Sheens for utility value decide to keep Fitzhenry as his benchy? The fact he can cover, fullback, wing, centre…well pretty much everything bar prop, second row and lock. I think i'd be keeping him on the bench. It will be a chance for Daniela, Brown or Pritchard to get a run. My thinking suspects Brown will get the gig.

In the post game Sheens made the statement about almost pulling Lote off due to cramping before his sideline run and said Fitzy was put on the bench to cover this possibility

thats sheens excuse but it wasnt really the reason he picked fitzy there, if he truly sees fitzy as a utility then he wot be winger this week it will be brown daniella or pritchard with fitzy retaining his prized 17 jersey

Fitzy will be the Winger - but i have a feeling Lazarus might warm the bench this week.

thats even more dumb, not slap in the face of blake but its a wasted bench spot, fulton or flanagan can cove a centre position if an outside back gets injured, he has to pick a forward not an outside back

I agree with you mate, i'm just suggesting that's what Sheens might do, on the other hand i have no idea what Sheens could be thinking.

who-ever is picked, will have to be on there game, as Anthony Minichello is running very well as we have seen from the rorters games so far.
looking forward to having Beau back.

Daniella or Brown IMO… Sheens said he would use Brown in the early rounds, my guess is he has that chance this week and will use it

What a joke

Poliitics…..

You sound surprised BuG....

It's simple the Coach has a different opinion of a players value to the team at a given time in the season ...than the Punters....

Many things come into it.....Salary Cap, a Top 25 contracted player v from outside thus affecting the second tier cap, Form, any niggling injury, opponent etc

If only if it was as simple as just picking what the fans think....... :unamused:

It is as easy as that because the Fonz himself said we have not spent anywhere near the cap just last week.
