Light jersey and dark jersey

Orange is the light next year (home)...sounds like maybe a change in 2028
To me it just shows how immature this club is. SM and the board can dress it up as much as they want but the Tigers can even nominate a home jersey because HBG go into hysterics over the colour orange and SM is too gutless to stand up to them.

Or maybe theyre just guilty of trying to appease fans that whinge and moan over petty things like colours...much like HB apparently

From listening to the podcast, it is clear with how it was described, light = orange (Leichhardt only), dark = black (Campbelltown only). But we cannot make it a full reality until the jersey rules allow us to (as we are locked into the 2 year cycle currently), so we will make the claim that we a making the orange the light option from next season to bring that idea into peoples minds, so that it might be more accepted in 2028.

But from that what I take from it, we still cannot get past the two sides and the debate, be it HBG, or the old boys, or fans, that still can't see that we need a singular identity across ALL home grounds rather than this Leichhardt vs Campbelltown stuff, and have to have two clearly location based jerseys to appease everyone, and unite no-one, but just call it light and dark as if we say home and away then people would realise it too easily (even though it is completely obvious anyway).

No matter what happens, this club (owners, board, and honestly fans as well) still cannot get it right about us being a single entity that needs a singular identity, not one divided by what home ground we play at, and it starts with how we present ourselves visually on the field as that is what the casual watcher sees first, well outside of all the dumb press about us (or HBG to be specific) all the time.
