He has only 1 season left on his contract at the Bulldogs which ends at the end of the 2012 season.

Barba is way bigger than Mullaney and he's strong. He's also a halfback coverted fullback which is one of Sheens' loves.

I think its time for a reality check for some people (and I mean that in the nicest possible way). We won't be signing Ben Barba… Just not going to happen. Happy Tiger has the right idea - some of those Broncos backs could be looking for a chance somewhere. How about Jordan Kahu! :laughing:

The other thing is that we have some very promising guys in the juniors as we saw first hand last Monday - guys ready to play NRL. Miller and Sironen obviously have NRL written all over them and there are others capable of making the step up.

Rubbish. They would have plenty of room to play with. Next year who will be eating up their cap space. James Graham, Michael Ennis, Josh Morris, Frank Pritchard, and?????? compared to other teams they'd have plenty of room to work with.
