**HULL KR: Galea disappointed over lack of offer**

HULL KR's Ben Galea admits he has been disappointed not to have been offered a new deal by Rovers. The 31-year-old had hoped to have agreed an extension to his deal at Craven Park, as his present contract expires at the end of the 2010\. But despite an impressive season for the Robins in 2009, Galea admits this may be his last campaign at the club. "I'm disappointed not to have been offered a new deal," Galea told the Mail.
>
"I've given 100 per cent the last two seasons and was player of the year two seasons ago. "If I don't get a new deal at Rovers I'll look around for another club in England and Australia.
>
Galea is one of a host of big-name players at the club entering the last year of their deals. And with the club losing an average of £450,000 a season so far, it may provide KR with an opportunity to cut spending and reduce costs.
Despite the disappointment, Galea says he has returned to pre-season training determined to prove he still has plenty to offer. "I still have the hunger to play at this level, it's what I love doing," he said. "My body feels great but maybe the club has other plans. I don't want to retire just yet but I'll keep my options open."
>
Galea joined Rovers from Wests Tigers ahead of the 2008 season. The NRL Grand Final winner made an immediate impact and won both player of the year awards at the end of the season. Last season he was tipped as an early contender to win the Man of Steel award scoring eight tries in the first 12 Super League games.
>
He was also one of four Rovers players to be named in Super League's Dream Team along with fellow second rower Clint Newton. Galea played every league game for the Robins last season.
Far out Sheens brings back Fitzhenry…......Ben has to be a moral........
