Mary Poppins scores 5/7

That's been our problem - too much dough, see dough and not enough Climb Every Mountain!

Sorry wrong Julie Andrews fillum!

Ikin should look at his own club, they have a lot more issues than WT.

I think most NRL followers would disagree with this .

Brisbane currently have a lot better upside than us unfortunately

Some will recall Ben Ikin at the start of the year was quite scathing in calling us a bottom 4 roster. Most on here disagreed but I think it’s fair to say we finished 13th and that’s about where we are. Par for the course based on our roster.

But let’s waste more resources and time on a review and not focus on the elephant. The fact we can’t actually improve the roster with the current people at the helm.

Most on here thought because it was the dreaded Murdoch foxtel media it was a beat up.
In 2005 we were the fairytale of the league everyone loved us.
Now we are not, fact is we are rubbish and we deserve a hammering
Ikin was correct we are a bottom 4 team

I agreed with Ikin at the time and still do, this year I had us finishing bottom 4 which is where our squad is at

I also have us finishing with the spoon next year and that was before Sundays putrid and disgraceful effot form these so called NRL players .

Who do you blame for being unable to improve the roster?

Everyman and his dog knows who you blame, you are obsessed with crucifying Madge

It seems the Club also has concerns about Maguire. I support the club not Maguire. I want our club to improve and if that means sacking Maguire I have no issue with it. If it had been done two games into this season we may not be in this position now.

You support virtually everyone but Madge.

There's a difference between being an apologist and also believing that the club should hold players to account for their performances. I've got no problems if Madge gets bounced, there should be at least another two players to follow him out the door with the five already leaving.

So if we had a bottom 4 roster which i agreed with at the start of the year and we finiahed bottom 4 -you could say Madge didnt under achieve and did what anyone did with the roster.

If we had beaten the Dogs, we would have finished 11th. Madge was 1 win against the *spooners* away from overachieving.

Read into this however you want.

BUT we didnt .. we didnt beat the wooden spooners

Just like saying we were 3 wins away from making the finals... We didnt win those games

95% of our squad is not NRL standard , hence why no one wants to come here and since we arent paying overs anymore, there's no financial gain for a NRL standard player to join us

We need a new coach. Sheens is not coming to be a coach but I hope he has a mentoring role at the club. Sheens is a huge asset and wealth of knowledge.

My response was a bit tongue in cheek, but by the sound of it we are both looking forward to seeing what sort of contribution Tim will make because we both believe that he has a lot to offer.

I believe that Roy Masters nailed it the SMH today: "The current team, however, consists of too many players with half-a-million-dollar incomes and 10-cent attitudes."

To be honest, and I thought I would never say this, I would take Sheens with a very clear succession plan in place where he trains up his replacement.

No thanks. He's done as a coach. He should not be anywhere near coaching ranks.
