Benji - Goal Kicking Record?

His kicking may be better marginally.

But I think the high percentage has a lot to do where the tries are being scored, when we had Taniela,Lawrence or Lote in form the majority of tries were being scored on the edges. With Taniela gone and the other 2 not playing at there best we are scoring our tries in different area ie closer to the post.

Very valid theory however I still feel as tho he is kicking a lot more from the side line than he was.. It's a mechanical thing, he is striking the ball really well ATM

I personally think he may go close but probably won't but nevertheless he has improved this part of his game immensely. Does anybody know if he got a new goal kicking coach this year? Anyway he truly is now the WHOLE package! Kudos Benji!

I would have thought he was well past 15 already, when was his last miss? Off the top of my head I thought it was the Brisbane game?

Round 7 vs Panthers: 5/5
Round 8 vs Eels: 4/5
Round 9 vs Titans: 3/3
Round 10 vs Warriors: 4/4
Round 11 vs Cowboys: 5/5

So ever since we have started our winning streak Benji has only missed 1 conversion!

heh the 2 kicks he missed only just missed and both were out wide in the rain. He's been kicking great still though.

LOL don't believe in this crap. We'll see what happens by the end of the year. I'll put out a prediction: Benji will win the leading point scorer list come round 26! :slight_smile:
