Agree 100% - as much as Benjis form over the last 2 yrs has left a lot to be desired, the guy has done more than most players to thrill crowds, draw kids to the game and bring excitement to the game. The way he is departing is a blight on everyone associated with this mess - media,NRL, WT and also Benji and his manager. The guy should have been fare welled as the champion he was not as some footnote to the season. I guess now we can all continue to cream ourselves over SBW, Mrs Burgess and her brood and whatever other crap channel9 can come up with. Thanks Benji you will always be a champion in my book.

The real test of this will be if they try to pick SBW!

Even if SBW does not sign elsewhere quickly his league contract will have run out.
If he signs on for union & they still try to pick him, then you'll know Benji was just dropped.
