That is interesting. I wonder if Benji lost it and sacked Tauber after realising how much money he lost. Still he keeps doing the same thing again and again.

Very poorly managed. I don't think Tauber knew much about League, if he did he would have told Benji that he wasn't playing well and that the old Benji was gone and lets just take what we are given.
Very similar with Brooks and Moses talked up like superstars but no one tells them they are not playing well and not worth 600k. At least Benji had a few good years.

Soon Benji is gonna have to do a Willie Mason and play for peanuts. But I feel he doesn't love the game enough to do that. Benji @ 100-150k I'm sure there'd be a few suitors.

2013 -Rejects $700k, thinks he's worth more.
2014 -Goes to Blues (Super Rugby) for less money.
2014 (again) -Union gamble fails, finds a home at St George Illawara, again, for less money.
2016 -Gets an offer of $300k from the Dragons, rejects it thinking he's worth more. Dragons take the contract away, now he's regretting it.

Big series of failures there from Benji.
