Benji or robbie??

Got to love this topic comes up every year. Very early this year, usually appears after a run of losses mid season especially if either Farah or Marshall have contributed to the loss with a howler of a play on the last tackle.

My take on the situation, you offer players what you think you can afford without upsetting the balance of your squad, if that is not enough so be it and as a player walks out the door another walks in. Your also have to determine when its time to look at the next generation even if it may result in short term pain. The Marshall/Farah thing would be determined on what your needs were at the time and what you had coming up behind them and of course how your cap space was traveling.

Look forward to the same topic next year if Farah resigns

Irrespective of possible salary cap pressures, i think we should let marshall go. we have plenty of options at five eighth, and Marshall is past his best. he seems to lose a few metres in pace each year. let someone else pay him a huge salary in his twilight years.

On Season 2012 form, i wouldn't even have Benji in my Top 17!!! In the 1/2's throw in Siro, Miller, Moses or Brooks. With Anasta at lock to steady the young guns! Benji, has a HEAP of stuff to do this year to warrant a New Contract! 2 things he MUST DO this year are 1: DO NOT RUN SIDEWAYS and push my wingers and centres onto the hill at Leichhardt. 2: DO NOT KICK AT ALL!!!

Seems a bit premature to lay the slipper into Benji isn't it? I agree he wasn't up to scratch last year but there were mitigating circumstances as well as lack of form.

Didnt Benji put on four try assists last Saturday night????The blokes a has been,runs side ways cant tackle and sets up 95% of our attack. Theirs some great judges in cyber land

Spearby, you are right mate. I will hold off on The Benji is a Hoax until next year! I must still have the Leichhardt Hill still ringing in my ears from season 2012 where he got us all FLUSTERED! I did laugh at the cover of this week's RLW, " Potter's plan telling Marshall to be more selfish in attack " I must have been at different games in 2012, because the way he ran sideways so many times and then pass a Ward 10 Hospital Pass was to my thinking "SELFISH". Anyway's BRING ON 2013!!! Didn't make Parra Trial,,but from what I saw of Benji in the ALL STARS GAME,,VERY ORDINARY!! Please can someone just that whistle and let SEASON 2013!!! I HATE CRICKET!!!

fanta pants he had a bad year last year ,but remember he had a lot of mates also he is NOT 1/2 back .if miller can handle 1st grade just watch benji fire. robbie had a tough year with his family . both are champions never knock a champion go tigers
