Benji should have been Man of the Match.......

I like to think i am not bias when it comes to picking Man of the Match Performances.

If there was a better Player on the field tonight i did not see them. Benji turned that game.

Love Benji as well but thought Luke Lewis was MOTM He had another strong game and narrowly edged out Gallen

Off subject but didn't Tom Leahroyd Lahrs look in good shape he looked 5 kgs lighter

Yes,Happy i felt Luke Lewis could have got it also but no way did Nathan Merritt deserve it.

I felt Tom Leahroyd Lahrs looked really little,i didn't reconise him at first.

As long as he came through the match unscathed, thats the main thing. We could be sitting here discussing an injury. I didn't watch it but apparently Inglis picked up an ankle injury. I'm just glad it wasn't one of our boys

Not a chance he should get it Frazer IMO there was at least a dozen blokes before Merritt that should of got it

But it's Presto's award I guess and he has the right to pick whoever he wants

Benji sparked up late in the game…his defence didnt look that strong....Luke Lewis my MOTM, TLL good too

Wasn't MOM voted by viewers? Must have been a lot of Souffs fans texting away!

On Luke Lewis - wish he was a Tiger!!

I don't know Mrs T Be a pretty ordinary backrow with Blair ,Ellis and Lewis 😛ray:

benji would not have been in the top ten, but he did not get injured and showed some glimpses of what he can do and thats all you want in February. I thought Blair was really strong along with Lewis. Watmough was very good when he came on and Gallan was Gallan. Fifita was way out of his class and Bird is a grub

I'd take Lewis as well, I think he is right up there with the most consistent and well performed backrowers in the world for the past few seasons now.

Thought JT was very good as well. Benji had a strong final 20 but there were 5 or 6 better than him tonight.

Souffs fans don't have fones so they can't text.

And those who do, don't have phingers to text with.

Lewis, Blair, Gallen, Thurston and Yow Yeh were my top 5… geez, even Sandow was better than Merritt.

Benji did his usual Mr 20 Minute camio if that, and I also feel the NRL Team were a bit shocked by the intensity of the "darkies" in the first 20.

So Frazer, yes you are bias

PS. Before any mung bean eating, tree swinging, save the whales weekend lawyers jump up and down, the "darkies" reference was a quote by Matt Bowen.

My top 3 were

1\. Lewis
2\. Thurston
3\. TLL

Merritt shouldn't have gotten anywhere near it. He's a finisher and he did his job by scoring two tries. He didn't go above and beyond the call. Gallen made metres every time he got the ball, but did he have soap on his hands? spilt the pill just about every time he went to ground!

I thought Lewis deserved it. I thought Dugan tried hard too. As others have said, Benji only really came alive in the final 20 but looked sharp when he did.
