I thought Lewis deserved it. I thought Dugan tried hard too. As others have said, Benji only really came alive in the final 20 but looked sharp when he did.

Dugan tried… With the ball in his hand. His positional defence was absolutely abhorrent though.

Benji came alive when he needed to, when the game was there to be taken.

I thought Benji showed the most "brilliance" he played like a true champion - injected himself into the game and showed his class when he needed to.

Call me biased but if Lockyer had thrown that pass for Vatuvai the channel nine commentators would have all made a bigger deal of it.

There is no doubt in my mind that we have the best player in the world in Benji.

We have the worlds best forward in Blair.

We have the worlds best centre in Lawrence.

That's not to mention Ellis, Farah, Ayshford…..

Thats a baffling opinion you have there Boonboon.

1 - Wait until near fulltime to get the proper perspective of who has played well
2 - A winger who did nothing out of the ordinary, merely finished off others brilliance should very very rarely get MOM - especially when on the losing side
3 - I dont even know where to start with your last sentence…MOm means best player on the field, not best aboriginal 😕

Merrit would not have been in my top 10 however if you wanted to select somone from the indigenous it should have been JT.
