How good is it not to see him running around this year? We have a more structured backline with more well constructed plays. I cannot say I miss him.

I like many loyal WT fans wont dis Benji .
He did a lot of good for us .. And i will let him be in my Hall of Fame.

Plus dont forget the rule change about kicking it dead this year, many halves are playing differently

Its IMO

Agreed, Wests Tigers legend, wish him the best.

I must say that benji could have been lethal this year if he had stayed. Have him as a purely running 5/8 like the old days or even put him in the centres, that game against Dragons last year when he played in the centres was probably his best game.

for all of benji's faults there were an equal amount of brilliant qualities about his game and like whats already been mentioned the speed of the game now it would have suited him to a T.

is he was at 6 this year, i can only salivate at the thought of what could have been.

no doubt he is a wests tigers legend however theres no way we would see a performance like last night with benji there

our whole setup is entirely different, benji would be getting 80% of the ball and brooks would touch it once every 2 sets. benji would also be kicking everything dead and constantly giving teams 7 tackles from the 20.

will always love him for what he did for us, however dont miss him and do think we are a lot better for him leaving

Why do people always feel the need to put the boot into this bloke??? Be thankful for what he gave us and what we have now!!!

I dunno I wouldn't mind still having Benji, of course with a fair few things different. Smaller contract and playing in the centers (I know he can't defend but our other centers aren't so great either) where he was amazing during Brooks debut game where all he had was a simple running game.

Bring him back to fullback if teddy goes …
