I'm only guessing , but I reckon their reaction would of been they were glad it wasn't them

The NRL is a dog eat dog business these days and what Bennett did to get Boyd is just part of that process. Maybe we need to get away from being the good guys and start being ruthless like some other clubs and we might start tasting some success.

On Boyd's injury, its a bitter blow for any player to suffer a major injury in the off season, but its all part of the game and he will be back for the last quarter of the season. I just do not see all the hate for the player or any other player, its not like he is a wife beater!!!

No, it's because he has been such a massive W#nker, ever since he has been in F/g. ( whether he has a medical problem or not, is something that only he knows the truth about) and he can only be judged on his behaviour in public.
At the moment , the fact that that hypocrite Bennett has egg all over his face , in that he rushed to kick other players out of the club, To find a gauranteed spot for his favourite little koala bear, and now has a black hole in his plans , is a source of great hilarity to a lot of supporters of clubs that Bennett has pillaged already this year.

At the end of the day Darius Grandmother should be congratulated for doing a fantastic job in raising him when Darius Biological Father never did , for whatever reason.
The arrogant person Darius has become is by picking up Bennett's traits IMO , being short and abrupt with the media and so on …. money comes with the Fame and at times the media is going to hound you and annoy you but at the same token when you play well they will praise you.
There Manager's will use the media when wanting to beef up there client's $$$ when negotiating Contract's , so you can't have it all .
How many homeless people out there that grew up with no mum's or Dad's and have become junkies and turned to Drug's and alcohol ,he has some sort of stability in his life (married , Career) .
Patient's that suffer from Mental Health issues don't want to get out of bed , they sleep all day , isolate themselves , Darius went to the Greek Islands FFS instead of finishing his commitments with Newcastle .
Yeah his got an injury big deal he will continue to get paid his contract money , isn't it a hard life :unamused:

FT, I agree with what you said about His grandmother deserving credit for raising him. It's not often easy for a grandparent to raise grandkids full time, it takes a lot of time, patience,energy and love to do it successfully, and she would have to have put a lot of all three in.
