Besides the injury toll it's the same old issue

No stable half pairing for benji

Last year he had 9 different half pairings, this year it's been

Miller
Sironen
Anasta
Moltzen

That's 4 different pairings in 10 weeks how are we supposed to form a nucleus with the constant changing? I say bring in brooks let him get half a season under his belt for next year. Didn't hurt daly cherry Evans when manly debuted him as a 19 year old.

for god's sake, Marhsall is 28 years old. He has been out of form for the past 2 seasons. Do you think he is worth over $1,000,000.00 a season. The injury toll last year was just as bad the difference this year is that we have coach with nothing, all those that pushed for sheens to go should give themselves a uppercut.

Daly Cherry-Evans was 22 when he debuted.

The injury toll no where NEAR as bad as this year! This year, he dropped miller. that's the only willing halves change he's made cause anasta and moltz both got injured and thus sirro was needed.

The same old issue is when a club forces the ONLY halfback with NRL experience out of the joint for whatever reasons they were. Millers release highlites the problem.

There are clearly problems here and I dont give a rats who it is everyone MUST be on the same page and its obvious we are not

When you have a club where individuals ARE treated as being bigger than the club and are calling the shots…well its a no brainer, nothing will change while they remain.

People say "Oh we have Brooks"...what club in their right mind releases a player in preference to another who has not even tasted first grade and is still a work in progress....such an unbelievably stupid scenario not even WTs would be capable of.

Yes he was. He also had a full year in the Queensland Cup (better standard than NSW cup) after he had played NYC. I am convinced that Brooks and Mosses is our halves going forward but lets not rush them. They are probably 2-3 years away from when they should be there.

The injury toll is being played up a bit too much for mine. Some of the guys injured are no longer good enough anyway eg. Moltzen, Lawrence (his hip injury his killed what should have been a great career), Utai, Turqui, Anasta ( not sure if he is what is needed, especially in the back row).

The only forward really missing is Galloway. Whilst if you put him into our pack it would be better it still what not make up for our soft back row that lack penetration and misses far too many tackles.

The best thing the Tigers could do is set up a feeder club in Qld Cup Might cost a bit ,but they would get to play against far better opposition week in week out

As I said before it's the Same Same Same. Sheens has gone but everyone else is still there.

The people "helping" Sheens are now there "helping" Potter.
Same Same Same.

Wests Tigers the Public Service of the NRL…It Does not matter how you perform Your job is always safe....Over 30's welcome to apply.

Thurston has had four halves this season and two nines.

Doesnt seem to affect him.

Pretty sick of excuses being made for Benji. Maybe he could play smart footy and lead, make the smart plays and actually mature at last.

All we hear is excuses from smoking gun. Why hasn't the constant half back changes effected Thurston???

The NSWRL changed the rules a couple of years ago so the they are unable to play in Qld Cup all they can do is set up nursery which we already have in Keebra Park. We don't have a problem with players coming up through the grades it is with the recruitment of established stars & that hasn't just been this year.

Stuff the injury toll, seriously. I reckon we'd be the only team who trot out this excuse yr after yr. You'd think we're the only side who ever gets injured. Besides Galloway which players exactly are we missing?

Theyve lost more than theyve won, it has affected him and their team.

They lost Payne & Segeyaro, theyve had injurys in the halves partners…they arent playing well...it HAS affected them

It has effectedthem Ink, yes

But is hasn't changed his level of performance…in fact, he has risen to new levels and almost single handedly carried them home some games.

That is the difference mate.

Have you actually watched any cowboys' games this year? He has noticeably been playing well below par, it has definitely affected him.

The problem is, and always has been, a mental one. This team just can't seem to produce and maintain a winning attitude. All the positive talk in the papers, from various players each week, just never sounds convincing to me. It's like they are trying to make themselves believe that can win matches, but as soon as they get on the back foot in a game, they're gone mentally! I don't care what they do - bring in a shrink, a sports psychologist or a damn hypnotist, but the club really needs to do something about this, otherwise this problem will exist forever.

Iam with Gun,first place to start is the no7\. Take a look at our games 2010/2011 when Lui was our no7,he was the player that started most of our attack. I did not realize how skillful he was to I looked at some old highlights the other night

believe it or not no matter who is halfback won't make a difference in a team scoring 40+ points against us

the halves problem is just the reason we don't lose 42-22 like in the past. instead we can't score more then 12 points a game now and lost 40-6 etc
