Nirvana at Selinas at Coogee was great, as was the first big day out.

Jane's Addiction were awesome at the Enmore.

Daaaamnm. Would've loved to see Nirvana.
Lucky dude.

International: Green Day, U2, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bryan Adams, Metallica (In the US), Velvet Revolver, Bon Jovi, Guns 'n' roses, The Killers (In The US) The Eagles (In The US) Elton John (In The US)

Local: Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Dragon, Mark Seymour, Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool & Mondo Rock), Daryl Braithwait, Shannon Noll

I saw Nirvana at Festival Hall in Brisbane in January 1992\. Great great show. Pure power. Very similar to seeing AC/DC at the Showground in 1980.

back in the late seventies … omg ... went to see black sabbath at the hordern and a new band called ac/dc was backup !

Hard to name 1 but
in the 90's pearl jam at eastern creek
Slayer at the hordon
mr bungle & NOFX at selinas

in the '00'ies mars volta, opeth & Mastadon have been stanouts but geez there has been so many more

Another good show I forgot about was George Thorougood and the Destroyers . George is funny on stage Calls everything Cat

See Screaming Jets and Baby Animals in 1992 at the Hordern Pavillion for $5\. Like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Metallica, U2 seen ay olympic park last year, Eagles - Enterntainment Centre, Stones at the SCG, Crowded House at the Royal Opera House, Mondo Rock on the Rooty Hill and Sound Relief was pretty good as well, featuring Icehouse, AC/DC where pretty good as well in the mid nineties at the Entertainment Centre. Aslo seen Gun N Roses along with Skid Row and Rose Tattoo in the early ninties.

Hey YKW, I was at that concert too - the one with the Jets and Baby Animals. It was awesome and had been my best concert for many many years.

However this has been surpassed by Stone Temple Pilots whom I saw a few weeks ago. They were awesome and sound fantastic live! I felt young(ish) again.

One of the best shows I have seen was Ian Moss last year at the Asquith Leagues. Just him on stage with his guitar. Brilliant stuff.

Worst concert I have seen was Elton John a few years back at the Entertainment Centre. Had ordinary seats so couldn't see anything except the big screens. The concert had no atmosphere. So it was a lot of money down the drain to watch him on tv…

Being a little older than you ( I think) I have seen everyone from Led Zeppelin down.
Funnily enough the best live band I ever saw were basically a support band for Three Dog Night .
At that time (early 70's)Three Dog Night were arguably the most popular (pop) group in the world
with over 20 consecutive top 40 hits.
The support was a group called The Guess Who - with one hit 'American Woman' ( later redone by Lenny Kravitz).
They were so good the whole place booed for 10 minutes when Three Dog Night took the stage - no-one wanted them to finish.

Had a similar experience many years ago CK, I went to see 'slade' in sydney and the support band was Status quo whom noone had heard of, needless to say noone wanted the Quo to leave the stage, must admit Slade were great though.

Im probably a bit older than most of you posters and ive seen a fair few bands in my day, Including international acts as well as local, I would like to go on record as saying some of our local bands well & truly match it with a lot of international acts, Though the one that surpasses them all is our very own BILLY THORPE ! This man" live" was like nobody else, He blew Deep Purple and Alice Cooper off stage, Living in both NSW & QLD, I took every chance I got to see the man, When they had that concert, Its a long to the top with all the older sixties & seventies aussie stars,Thorpie made them all look like amateurs, Truly the best ever, Im talkin Thorpie 70 onwards till his untimely departure in 2007, RIP BILLY THORPE. Oh Yeah if you didn:t notice , BIG time fan.

An outstanding aussie talent along with J OK!!
