Best Wests Tigers Team ever

These are always tough to do...inevitably someone misses out that shouldn't.

1. Hodgson
2. Tuiaki
3. Lawrence
4. Whatuera
5. Richards
6. Marshall
7. Prince
13. Galea
12. Fulton
11. Ellis
10. Woods
9. Farah
8. Galloway

14. Halatau
15. Lafranchi
16. O'Neill
17. Heighington

Leaving out guys like Tedesco, Simona, Senter, O'Donnell, Nofoaluma, Brooks, Moses, Skandalis, Elford, Dwyer, Tuquiri, Payten, McGuiness x 2, Field, Twal, Korobete.... not easy. Arguments can be made for all of them in their own way.

Revisionist history will downgrade the likes of Twal, Nofa etc. Elijah Taylor was an unsung warrior for the club. But years of lack of success will put them below the guys that won stuff. The McGuiness boys would make most teams if you take away the results in those years. In fact, little Kev McGuiness was probably the best centre the club ever had. Tedesco v Hodgson isn't easy either. Both have been outstanding for the club. Darren Senter battled through years of rubbish but was excellent for the club too.
Scott Sattler was good for us , he led by example in 2004 and def had a big impact on those young forwards coming through

It is really noticeable that apart from api anyone on the above lists haven’t played at weststigers for a number of years or weren’t at their best ( benji,Farah for example)
Little depressing.

Unlucky Tedesco, Koroibete, Galea, Halatau
Note: Fifita games for the WT were just endless sideways runs😢

Some good teams here. All pretty similar. Who are we hopeful can crack this side by the time they retire? I'm hoping Stefano boots Woods out, Bula lives up to his potential and takes Hodgson's spot, Junior has a solid run playing on the wing for a few years and takes Richards spot and Ice plays like he can with a good half inside him and takes a 2nd row spot. Can't see any of the others being in there.

All of this might be wishful thinking but what else do we as fans have at the moment?

EDIT: Api is on par with Farah as a player now, but Farah is lengths ahead in terms of what he did for the Tigers.
