Geez! Titans $7.50! That's biggest price I've ever seen a team in the nrl pay! No doubt though we should win by a BIG margin, hopefully these next two rounds really help along our differential.

Yep the price for tigers at TAB was $1.08, bloody ridiculous. never seen it so low

nearly worth having $10 on the titans, so if something goes horribly wrong, we at least have some financial gain out of it

I had this chat with some mates before the Parra game. The problem is that the amount of money I'd need to null the pain of a defeat would be sufficient to make the amount I'd have to lose if we win ruin the win. Maybe it's different at $7.50 - I think I'd still need to have $100 on the Titans though.

Suffice to say if we ever played Souths in a grand final I'd have several grand on Souths to win - enough that I could be in a cab to the airport as the hooter sounds with no intention of coming back for several months.

the top 4 is interesting as well:

Tigers - 1.90
NZ - 3.50
Nth Qld - 5.00
Saints - 8.00

bookies think we're in the box seat…

If we win our last 2 we will be 4th IMO The warriors play the dragons and nth quensland play warriors in last game so all looks good if we can finish the year off with a couple of wins

Us at $1.08 is probably decent value for the big hitters. Might get $1.50 for 13+ which would be the way to go. I think if we are in the mood we win by 40-50.

The Gold Coast AFL team is nearly on par with the NRL team. They are paying $7 at the head to head v Melbourne. Farah first try into the Tigers 13+ looks a go at $28.

The Suns will roll Melbourne.

Not too sure about that. Tanking is well and truly under way at this late stage in an AFL season, the Suns have no reason to want to him.

The only thing I am not sure of is whether they get draft concessions next year as well, which would mean they don't need to worry about tanking so much.

Anyway - as confident as I am about the Tigers, $1.08 should not be touched.

GWS are getting all the top picks next year so there is little to no tanking in the AFL this year. The Suns will have to rely on the fact they're crap to lose this one.

Who do you think will win this one????,…. I am leaning towards Beau

**Most Tries - Ryan vs Tuqiri Win**
WESTS TIGERS vs GOLD COAST TITANS
.
Pay on the player who scores the most tries. If level on tries or no tries scored tie wins. Both players must be in starting 17 for bets to stand.
RYAN, Beau (Tigers) 3.75
Tie 1.95
TUQIRI, Lote (Tigers) 3.25

I'd take whoever Utai isn't playing inside….

The last game I saw with odds that long was Dragons vs Roosters two weeks ago…

oh shiiiieeet....

A mate of mine who runs [Making The Nut](http://www.makingthenut.com) and writes an [annual punting guide to the NRL](http://makingthenut.com/content/punters-guide-2011-nrl-season) (excuse the plug, but it's a quality product and if Steve Mascord can get away with it…) informs me that 5 of the last 7 times a team has been an 18 point or greater underdog they have actually won outright...

I always hate going into a game this heavily favoured. A win's just expected, so where's the upside?

Ill take your 10 $ if you want to donate,Remember guys 1.08 is still better than bank interest.

I obviously can't bet (considering my age  ) but does any body know how much the Tigers are to win by 13+? I'd almost put my life on us winning by that margin, yes I know the Titans may come out firing considering their trying to avoid the wooden spoon and send Preston Campbell off on a good note and maybe restrict the margin to a more modest one, but class will prevail.
